In most circumstances as a Royal Terrace employee, you must have, or be willing to enroll in appropriate educational programs in order to obtain required educational qualifications. For example, a Dietary Aide must have the Food Handlers Certificate. An Activity Assistant must have a certificate or diploma in Recreation and Leisure, and Personal Support Workers must have a PSW certificate. Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses must hold current registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario.

Royal Terrace also offers a unique intergenerational opportunity for high school students as Personal Care Aides, Bed Makers, and Dietary Aides.
