In today’s economic reality, it appears that there is no place for smaller family owned businesses.  It is no different in the Long Term Care/Retirement home industry, where most facilities are owned and operated by large corporate chains.

Royal Terrace is different.  It is family owned since 1973, built new in 1989 and strategically placed next to the Palmerston and District Hospital in North Wellington.  The Owner is also the Administrator, a rarity in today’s impersonal health care world.  On any given day, you may find him in the dining room serving coffee or tea to residents, or his wife attending to the beautifully landscaped gardens.

If you are seeking out a residence with a responsible, personal, and accountable ownership, then you owe it to yourself to visit Royal Terrace, take a tour, and observe first hand the services, amenities and personalized care provided to our residents. We sincerely look forward to meeting you!

Kash Ramchandani,
Owner, Administrator

“... I have been most impressed with the support that is offered especially to new residents who are adjusting to a transitional situation. My mother and her husband have been residents at Royal Terrace Retirement Home now for several months. They have found their new home to be a warm, inviting, comfortable place...
